We provide expert holiday planning advice and itineraries

You Book Directly

You make your own bookings with recommended suppliers

Planning Fee

Planning fees are agreed upfront before work begins

Important: We Are a Planning Consultancy, Not a Booking Agency

Global Lions provides expert holiday planning advice, destination recommendations, and customized itineraries. We do not handle bookings, take payments for travel services, or issue tickets. You book directly with the airlines, hotels, and tour operators we recommend. All booking terms, cancellation policies, and refunds are governed by the suppliers you choose to book with.

Our Holiday Planning Service

Global Lions is an independent holiday-planning consultancy. We provide:

  • Free initial consultation to understand your travel needs and preferences
  • Destination research and personalized recommendations
  • Customized day-by-day itineraries tailored to your interests
  • Accommodation, activity, and dining suggestions
  • Budget planning and optimization advice
  • Travel tips and destination insights

We do not handle bookings or payments. Once you're happy with your holiday plan, we provide direct links and contact information for you to book with our recommended suppliers. This gives you complete control over your bookings and direct relationships with the companies you're traveling with.

Planning Fees & Payment

Our planning services are provided on a fee basis:

  • Free initial consultation: We discuss your holiday ideas with no obligation to proceed
  • Planning fee quoted upfront: Based on the complexity and duration of your trip
  • Payment required before detailed planning begins: We'll provide a clear invoice with all details
  • Fully refundable if unsatisfied: If you're not happy with our initial proposal, we offer a full refund

Our planning fees are clearly communicated before any work begins. There are no hidden charges, and we do not earn commissions from suppliers—our advice is completely unbiased.

Your Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about your travel preferences, dates, and budget
  • Reviewing and confirming all details in the itinerary we provide
  • Making your own bookings with recommended suppliers
  • Ensuring you have valid passports, visas, and required travel documents
  • Purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip
  • Reviewing supplier terms, cancellation policies, and fare rules before booking

Once you book with suppliers, you enter into a direct contract with them. We are not responsible for any issues that arise from your bookings.

Passport, Visa & Immigration Requirements

You are fully responsible for ensuring you have all required travel documents:

  • Passport: Valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date
  • Visas: Entry requirements for your destination (including transit visas)
  • Health documentation: Vaccination certificates, PCR tests, or health forms
  • ESTA/ETA: Electronic travel authorizations where required

Requirements can change without notice. We provide guidance during planning, but it is your responsibility to verify current requirements with official sources before travel.

Global Lions is not responsible for denied boarding, entry refusal, or any issues arising from incorrect or missing travel documents. Always check official government travel advice before your trip.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip. Insurance protects you against:

  • Medical emergencies abroad (which can cost thousands)
  • Holiday cancellation or interruption
  • Lost, stolen, or delayed baggage
  • Travel delays and missed connections
  • Personal liability and legal expenses

We are not responsible for any losses that could have been covered by insurance. Please purchase insurance as soon as you book your travel arrangements.

Special Requirements & Medical Needs

We are happy to help plan holidays for travelers with specific needs:

  • Mobility requirements: We'll recommend accessible accommodation and transport options
  • Dietary needs: We'll suggest restaurants and suppliers that cater to your requirements
  • Medical conditions: We'll advise on destinations with good medical facilities
  • Family needs: We'll find family-friendly accommodation and activities

Please inform us of any special requirements during your initial consultation. While we do our best to find suitable options, we cannot guarantee availability or suitability.

Supplier Terms & Conditions

When you book with our recommended suppliers, you enter into a direct contract with them. We are not a party to these contracts. You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing and understanding supplier terms before booking
  • Checking cancellation policies and refund eligibility
  • Understanding baggage allowances and fare conditions
  • Meeting supplier deadlines for check-in and travel

If you have issues with a supplier (e.g., flight changes, cancellations, accommodation problems), you must contact them directly. We can offer guidance, but we cannot intervene on your behalf.

Reconfirming Flights & Travel Arrangements

If you book flights, we recommend reconfirming your return or onward flights at least 72 hours before departure directly with the airline. For hotels and tours, reconfirm as advised by the supplier. Failure to reconfirm may result in missed connections or lost bookings for which we are not responsible.

COVID-19 & Travel Disruptions

Travel restrictions, entry requirements, and health protocols can change rapidly. You are responsible for:

  • Checking current entry requirements for your destination before travel
  • Understanding airline and hotel COVID-19 policies
  • Carrying required documentation (vaccination certificates, test results)
  • Following health and safety guidelines during your trip

If travel disruptions occur, supplier policies will apply. We cannot guarantee refunds or changes if you choose not to travel due to COVID-19 concerns.

Very Important

Global Lions is not responsible for losses caused by airline cancellations, hotel closures, travel restrictions, weather events, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or other unexpected events. Passengers are strongly encouraged to arrange comprehensive travel insurance and to review supplier terms carefully before booking.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Lions shall not be liable for:

  • Any losses arising from bookings made with third-party suppliers
  • Changes to travel plans due to airline schedule changes or cancellations
  • Issues with accommodation, tours, or other services booked independently
  • Medical issues, accidents, or injuries during travel
  • Loss or damage to baggage or personal property
  • Any indirect or consequential losses

Our total liability for any claim arising from our planning services is limited to the planning fee paid.
